Lakshmi’s Mohanbabu’s ‘Cube of Interaction’ sculpture will take permanent residence on the surface of the moon as part of the Moon Gallery in partnership with the European Space Agency’s Moon Mars Mission. Set to launch in early 2023, Lakshmi is the first and only Singaporean artist to be selected for this historical moment.

Lakshmi is a Singaporean artist, an architect and fashion designer by training, who spent her formative years in Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. Her art has been featured as a mosaic animation on the largest HD screen in the world at Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre, displayed in prominent galleries, and is collected worldwide.
